Flotsam and Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms Are Temporarily Free on Epic Games Store

Thursday has come, and that means the Epic Games Store has kicked off its traditional free game giveaway. This time, you can add two games to your EGS library, and we’ve also learned which game will be free next week.

The first game you can add to your Epic Games Store library is Flotsam. Developed by Pajama Llama Games and released in 2019, Flotsam is a post-apocalyptic town-building simulator where you lead a group of drifters in a completely flooded world. Your main task is to collect trash, plastic, and wood from the ocean’s surface, recycle them, and lead the construction of your own city.

You can also add Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms to your EGS library. The game itself is free-to-play, but as part of this giveaway, you can claim a large bonus pack for free. It includes the Morte's Renown Pack, which features Morte—the skull from Planescape: Torment—as well as various in-game resources. The game itself belongs to the idle genre, and it's set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe. You’ll need to assemble a team of characters and send them into battle against various monsters. You can add both games to your library for free until November 12.

Next week, the Epic Games Store is launching a free giveaway of Knightica—a turn-based roguelike auto-battler strategy game developed by Mad Mango Games—but it won’t be available on the EGS until November 12, so the publisher has decided to celebrate with a free giveaway.
