GTA 6 Appeared on the Game Informer Cover—Game's New Details Will Be Revealed Next Week

Game Informer has revealed the cover of its upcoming issue. It features the most anticipated game of 2026, Grand Theft Auto VI, and players can expect new gameplay details to be revealed next week.

According to a post published by the magazine on its official website and social media, the digital version of the new issue of Game Informer, dedicated to GTA 6, will be available on September 29, while the print edition will be released in the coming weeks. Players can look forward to 12 new screenshots, as well as exclusive details—including the open world, dynamic weather, wildlife, and more.

• Features 12 new exclusive screenshots in addition to the artwor.
• Includes new details about the game’s advanced weather systems that simulate Florida’s less sunny weather phenomen.
• Interviews with several lead designers at Rockstar Games with a particular focus on how they brought the game’s setting and Florida parody, Leonida, to life.
• The staggering amount of wildlife.
• Roaming Leonida on land, air, and sea.
• Rockstar’s approach to researching Miami and Florida to ensure it created the most culturally and aesthetically accurate and lifelike world to date.
• The digital version will be available on September 29 for subscribers.
• The print version will reach subscribers’ mailboxes and in bookstores/newstands in the coming weeks.

Just yesterday, Rockstar Games unveiled the GTA 6 collector’s edition, The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection, and it’s great to see a new announcement coming next week that will focus primarily on the gameplay aspect of the game. However, even just by browsing through the contents of the collector’s edition, players were able to catch a glimpse of the GTA 6 map, which includes two small islands.
