Brawl Stars Adds Cosmo, a New Mythic Brawler for the "Royal Academy" Season

Supercell revealed Cosmo, the newest Brawl Stars fighter, who runs the Starr Park Observatory in Season 54, "Royal Academy." The reveal happened at the August 29, 2026 Brawl Talk, and Cosmo lands in the game the week of September 8 alongside the Brawler Blast update, which replaces the previous Starr Road event.

Cosmo is a robot scientist, the head astronomer at Starr Park's observatory. He lectures on the universe and watches the stars, and that whole "gravity and orbits" idea carries straight through to his kit. He's part of a new trio called the Planetarium Trio. The second brawler from that group, Vince, arrives in October.

Supercell built Cosmo as a Mythic ranged controller. His whole thing is bending where shots go, not firing straight at people.

  • His basic attack, Orbit, launches three projectiles on a curving path. The longer they travel, the further apart they drift and the bigger they get, so a well-timed shot from range hits a lot harder than it looks.
  • His Super, Gravitational Pull, works like a tiny black hole. It latches a gravity magnet onto an enemy, and every shot Cosmo or his teammates fire afterward curves toward that target. Suddenly your whole team is hitting the same guy without really trying to.

He also comes with:

  • Gadget, Telescopic Trap — reveals the area for 6 seconds and blocks dashes, jumps, and teleports. 20-second cooldown.
  • Star Power, Precession — projectiles move 25% faster, which makes the main attack far easier to land.
  • Star Power, Ammo Attractor — hitting an enemy with the Super refills 2 ammo.

Early testers say Cosmo is at his best in 3v3 modes like Gem Grab, Brawl Ball, Hot Zone, and Knockout, where a team can actually capitalize on the Super marking a target. Showdown is a different story. No teammates means nobody to punish the enemy you just tagged, so a lot of what makes Cosmo interesting just doesn't apply.

Cosmo unlocks through Brawler Blast for 1,900 Mythic Credits. No QR code this time, same as with other brawlers. Supercell usually runs a free early-access event for new characters too, though the exact details for Cosmo haven't been confirmed yet. Together with Cosmo, you can find Working Brawl Stars Codes for September 2026.
