007 First Light Received New Update - Patch Notes Version 1.1.0

IO Interactive has released a new update for its 2026 massive hit, 007 First Light, titled Behind Enemy Lines. It adds to the game new TacSim missions, new weapons, a bunch of bug fixes, and removes the Denuvo anti-piracy system.

Behind Enemy Lines adds two new TacSim missions to 007 First Light - The Workshop and Extraction Avenues. Players can also now pick up new weapons using in-game Intel credits—the Stormberg 50cal (Clearance Level 12, 3,000 Intel), the DRX-2 Machine Pistol (Clearance Level 12, 3,000 Intel), and the DRS-7 Silenced SMG (Clearance Level 16, 3,000 Intel), as well as the Diamond in the Rough outfit (Clearance Level 16, 3,000 Intel). IO Interactive had previously confirmed it plans to keep supporting 007 First Light the same way it's done with the Hitman serie s, and Behind Enemy Lines is the latest proof of that. It's also recently been revealed that the game could have looked so much different—early on, the developers were planning to build the story around an entire team of young British intelligence agents, not just James Bond. However, it seems like the studio made the right call sticking with Bond alone and making the game in the style of Uncharted—a spectacular action-adventure. That might be the main reason why total sales have already crossed 3 million copies.

The studio is still working on Project Fantasy, an upcoming multiplayer title, despite the closure of its Istanbul office and losing Xbox Game Studios as the game’s publisher. The release date for Project Fantasy remains unknown at this stage.

007 First Light and its latest update, Behind Enemy Lines, are now available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
