Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem to Shut Down on October 15, 2026
Scopely has announced that Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem will permanently shut down on October 15, 2026, bringing an end to nearly eight years of service. The publisher has also revealed a farewell schedule, including daily rewards, the removal of in-app purchases, and the game's delisting from app stores.
The shutdown process will begin on July 15, when players start receiving daily farewell rewards such as Toons, WB Charms, and other in-game resources. Scopely will also make free Toon Pieces for newly released characters available through the in-game store during the game's final months.
On August 16, players will no longer be able to purchase premium content, and the game's official social media channels will be closed. One week later, on August 23, Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem will be removed from the App Store and Google Play, preventing new downloads while existing players retain access.
The game's servers will remain online until October 15, 2026, allowing current players to continue playing and contact customer support before service officially ends.
Released in December 2018, Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem is a turn-based RPG featuring characters from the Warner Bros. franchise, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety, Taz, Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote, Marvin the Martian, and many others.
Scopely did not provide a specific reason for ending the game's service. The announcement follows a growing trend of long-running mobile titles reaching end-of-service after years of operation.
