Brawl Stars July 8 Update Fixes Multiple Bugs, More Changes Still on the Way

Supercell rolled out a new Brawl Stars maintenance update on July 8, 2026, fixing a wide range of gameplay, visual, and server issues while confirming that several high-priority bugs will be addressed in a future patch. The developer also shared a list of issues that are still under investigation.

The update resolves numerous gameplay bugs affecting several Brawlers and game modes. Among the most notable fixes are exploits involving Rico, damage calculation issues for Byron, Crow, Mortis, and Meg, as well as a server crash caused by the interaction between Jacky's Counter Crush Star Power and Sprout's Hypercharge.

Supercell also fixed multiple visual issues, including problems with Tick's Mr. Krabs skin, various Spike skins, and incorrect Hypercharge projectile effects for Meg. Additional fixes target Nano Modes, Trio Showdown, Combat Cooking matchmaking, and several crashes that could occur during matches.

The patch also restores Byron's eligibility for Brawl Stars Championship competitions after the underlying issue was resolved.

While the July 8 update addresses a large number of bugs, Supercell confirmed that more fixes are on the way. The developer is currently working on a bug preventing players from sending team invites, as well as additional Brawler interactions that can still cause game or server crashes.

Two other issues remain under investigation: players being unable to complete sets in Friendly Matches and problems affecting the Brawler Draft system.

Supercell has not announced a release date for the next maintenance update, but said the remaining high-priority fixes will arrive later this month.
