Monster Hunter Invades Resident Evil Survival Unit in New Collab

Resident Evil Survival Unit has kicked off a limited-time collaboration with Monster Hunter, bringing iconic monsters, cooperative gameplay, exclusive characters, and themed rewards to the mobile strategy title. Developed by Aniplex and JOYCITY, the crossover began on July 2 and will remain available until July 29, 2026.

Monster Hunter Monsters Invade Resident Evil Survival Unit

The collaboration introduces several legendary creatures from the Monster Hunter universe, including Yian Kut-Ku and Rathalos, which now appear as powerful enemies throughout the game.

Players can team up with friends or other users in a new online co-op mode to take down these massive monsters and earn event-exclusive rewards.

Another familiar Monster Hunter activity also makes its return: the iconic meat grilling mini-game. Successfully cooking meat rewards players with additional event items and resources, offering a nostalgic experience for longtime Monster Hunter fans.

Free Characters and Exclusive Cosmetics

The crossover also adds several Monster Hunter-inspired characters, which can be unlocked for free during the event and permanently added to players' collections.

In addition, participants can earn a variety of exclusive cosmetic rewards, including themed squad skins and other limited-time collectibles inspired by Capcom's popular hunting franchise.

Event Available Until July 29

The Monster Hunter x Resident Evil Survival Unit collaboration is available on both Android and iOS and will conclude on July 29, 2026.

With cooperative monster hunts, exclusive unlockable characters, themed cosmetics, and special gameplay activities, the limited-time crossover offers plenty of content for fans of both franchises before the event comes to an end.
