Warhorse Studios Announced Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Sold 6 Million Copies

The Czech studio Warhorse, known for the Kingdom Come: Deliverance series, announced that their RPG from last year, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, has reached another significant financial milestone. They also released a new patch for the game, unexpectedly adding a new quest.

On their social media channels, Warhorse Studios announced that Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has sold 6 million copies across all platforms. The developers expressed their gratitude to fans for their support and loyalty. In a separate post, they also reminded everyone that the Steam Summer Sale 2026 is currently underway, featuring a 60% discount on the game.

In addition, the developers have released a new update for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II— Patch 1.5.6. This patch adds support for the Steam Controller, fixes several bugs, and most importantly, introduces a new quest called Jester’s Visit, which players can start near the Hangman's Halter Tavern.

Earlier this year, Warhorse Studios announced they are working on a new game set in the Kingdom Come universe. It won’t be Deliverance III, but the developers promise a game of similar scale and within the same genre. Moreover, the game is expected to be released before the end of the next fiscal year (by March 31, 2028). In addition to this, the studio is also developing an open-world RPG based on Middle-earth. In a recent interview, Embracer CEO Phil Rogers stated that the upcoming project will focus on a single-player adventure, detailed world-building, and a high-quality storyline.
