Nintendo Direct Presentation Gets Exciting Update About Holding an Event This Week

On the eve of the upcoming week, which is already filled with various gaming shows, including State of Play (June 2), Summer Game Fest (June 5-8), and Xbox Games Showcase (June 7), Nintendo has yet to make their statement with their Nintendo Direct presentation. Nevertheless, more and more rumors indicate that this will happen very soon.

A couple of weeks ago, gaming journalist Jeff Grubb first reported that Nintendo is considering holding its own gaming presentation, Nintendo Direct, before the Summer Game Fest (June 5-8). Recently, another source, supposedly close to the company's representatives, confirmed that the presentation will take place on June 4, and today a list of the supposed games that could potentially be featured in the Nintendo Direct has already appeared.

The leak from 4chan once again refers to Switch Soku, and, as can be noticed, it contains some very loud announcements—including the Switch 2 versions of Crimson Desert, Control Resonant, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, and even GTA 6, which actually belongs to the realm of science fiction.

Nevertheless, even if Nintendo Direct takes place this week, there are several projects that might be shown. For instance, it could be a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which is rumored to be in development, as well as the recently announced Star Fox 64 remake, which is titled Star Fox. There also might be some information about Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, which is confirmed to release in 2026, Splatoon Riders, or even the new 3D Mario title.
