Massive Brawl Stars Balance Changes Leak Reveals Buffs and Nerfs for More Than 40 Brawlers

A major leak has revealed what could become one of the largest balance updates in Brawl Stars history. Information shared by trusted community source Chosen Network outlines dozens of potential buffs and nerfs planned for the upcoming June 2026 update.

According to the leak, the changes are currently considered work in progress and were reportedly shared internally to gather community feedback before the final version is approved.

If implemented, the update could dramatically reshape the competitive meta heading into the next season.

More Than 40 Brawlers Targeted

The leaked balance patch affects over 40 brawlers, with buffs slightly outnumbering nerfs. Several underperforming characters appear set to receive significant improvements, while some of the game's strongest picks are expected to be toned down.

Major Buffs Revealed

Some of the most notable buffs include:

Piper

  • Health increased from 5,000 to 5,600
  • Maximum long-range damage increased from 3,400 to 3,600

Mandy

  • Attack damage increased from 2,600 to 2,960
  • Hard Candy Star Power shield increased from 40% to 50%

Gale

  • Super damage increased from 1,200 to 1,600
  • Super charge rate increased

Tara

  • Reload speed increased

Lou

  • Projectile size increased by 20%

Carl

  • Attack damage increased from 1,480 to 1,640

Sprout

  • Faster reload speed
  • Increased attack damage

Charlie

  • Attack damage increased from 1,600 to 1,800

Surge

  • Base movement speed increased

Spike

  • Attack damage increased from 980 to 1,200

Griff

  • Major improvements to Coin Shower Gadget

Starr Nova Receives Massive Upgrades

Perhaps the most surprising changes involve Starr Nova, who was only recently added to the game and is already considered a strong pick.

The leaked buffs include:

  • Health increased from 7,400 to 7,600
  • Attack damage increased from 1,080 to 1,320
  • Super sword damage increased from 2,000 to 2,200
  • Super healing increased from 324 to 468

Considering Starr Nova is already performing well in many game modes, these potential buffs have sparked significant discussion within the community.

Major Nerfs Planned

Several top-tier brawlers are reportedly set to receive substantial nerfs.

Crow

  • Attack spread increased dramatically
  • Hypercharge return damage reduced

The wider attack spread will make it harder for Crow to deal concentrated damage at longer distances.

Leon

  • Lollipop Drop Gadget health reduced from 3,000 to 2,000

Mortis

  • Combo Spinner cooldown increased
  • Bonus damage reduced
  • Healing reduced

Edgar

  • Fisticuffs healing reduced
  • Hypercharge charge rate reduced

Mina

  • Attack damage reduced from 4,000 to 3,600
  • Windmill Gadget duration reduced

Chester

  • Candy Popper damage reduced
  • Gadget bonuses weakened

Najia

  • Super landing damage significantly reduced
  • Hypercharge snake health reduced

Ash

  • Hypercharge charge rate reduced by 30%
  • Trait adjustments planned

Damian

  • Super speakers will reportedly break after a single bounce

Meta Shake-Up Incoming

If these changes make it into the final patch, several of the current top-tier brawlers could see their positions challenged, while long-forgotten characters may finally return to competitive relevance.

The combination of large buffs for characters like Piper, Mandy, Carl, Sprout, and Starr Nova alongside heavy nerfs for Crow, Edgar, Chester, and Mortis suggests that June's update could significantly alter both Ranked and esports play.

More Anti-Cheat Changes Also Planned

Alongside the balance leak, Supercell is reportedly working on a major anti-cheat initiative for Brawl Stars, including improved cheat detection, trusted player reporting systems, and stricter Ranked restrictions.
