Honor of Kings Reveals Massive “Plus Version” Update for June 2026

Honor of Kings is preparing a huge content expansion this June with the arrival of the HOK Plus Version Update. The upcoming patch introduces four brand-new heroes, major hero reworks, gameplay optimizations affecting over 90 characters, new events, and several system-wide improvements designed to refresh the overall experience inside the Gorge.

The update officially launches on June 17, 2026.

Four New Heroes Arrive

One of the biggest highlights of the Plus Version Update is the addition of four new playable heroes.

Devara

Devara joins the roster as a Fighter hero capable of unleashing powerful thunder-based attacks. His kit focuses heavily on enhanced basic attacks and transformation mechanics that allow him to enter a stronger combat form.

Many players have already pointed out similarities between Devara and heroes inspired by Indian mythology, much like Garuda Khageswara.

Annette

Originally from Arena of Valor, Annette enters Honor of Kings as a Mage/Roam hybrid hero.

She specializes in:

• Area-of-effect abilities
• Mobility
• Team support

Her toolkit makes her particularly effective at controlling fights and assisting teammates across the map.

Lorion

Lorion is another crossover addition from Arena of Valor.

This dark mage focuses on burst damage and crowd control, using powerful magic abilities to disrupt enemies. His Ultimate can knock opponents into the air while dealing massive damage simultaneously.

Florentino

Florentino joins as a highly agile Fighter specializing in sword combat.

His gameplay revolves around:

• Marking enemies
• Dashing around opponents
• High burst damage potential

The hero’s fast-paced playstyle is expected to appeal strongly to mechanically skilled players.

More Than 90 Heroes Receiving Optimizations

Beyond the new additions, the developers confirmed gameplay optimizations for over 90 heroes.

Several specific improvements were already teased:

• Combo mechanics for heroes like Diaochan have become smoother and easier to execute
• Ultimate interactions involving heroes such as Xiao Qiao and Xiang Yu have been refined for better consistency

Sima Yi’s Energy system is being completely replaced with a traditional Mana bar.

New Spriteling Event Introduced

The update also launches several Spriteling-themed activities, including the new Spriteling Mystery Treasure Hunting event.

During the event:

• Spritelings can search for hidden treasures
• Players earn special event rewards
• Rewards can be exchanged for exclusive items

One of the biggest rewards teased so far is a free 1688-token voucher alongside multiple additional bonuses.

Gameplay and System Improvements
