Insomniac Games Still Plans to Reveal More of Marvel’s Wolverine This Spring

Marvel’s Wolverine from Insomniac Games is one of the most anticipated titles of 2026. While the game is expected to release this September exclusively on PlayStation 5, the fans are still waiting for the new gameplay demo this spring, as previously promised by the studio.

As April comes to its end, some players have begun to worry that Insomniac Games is delaying the release of new gameplay footage and official details for Marvel's Wolverine, and that the game might even be canceled. However, during a conversation with one of the fans on X social media, the studio confirmed that we will see new information about the game within the next month, as you can check out below:

“Didn’t y'all say there would be more new news about the game in Spring?? Is that still happening or no??

Yup, still happening this Spring.”

Last week, it wasn't Marvel's Wolverine but another Insomniac Games project that took center stage—an unannounced spin-off of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 featuring Venom as the protagonist. A statement by Nadji Jeter, the voice actor for Miles Morales, caused a stir when he claimed that the game had allegedly been canceled. However, several reputable sources immediately stated that this was not the case and that Marvel's Venom is still in development, even though the studio has not officially confirmed the project.

We also received a confirmation that Ben Jordan, the actor of Peter Parker in Marvel’s Spider-Man universe, is involved in two future Insomniac Games projects, as he recently teased, he’s doing mocap for his character.

As for Marvel’s Wolverine, the game is set to release on September 15 exclusively for PlayStation 5.
