Electronic Arts Revealed Battlefield 6 Roadmap for 2026
Despite Battlefield 6 having a great start, when 7 million copies were sold in three days, the game received some negative feedback from players due to numerous technical issues, excessive monetization, and, most importantly, the lack of new maps and game modes.
The game is currently in its second season, but the developers also plan to continue supporting it throughout 2026, and as a result, they have announced the roadmap for 2026. The third season of Battlefield 6 starts this May, and it will include two maps: Cairo Bazaar, which is inspired by Grand Bazaar from Battlefield 3, and Railway to Golmud from Battlefield 4. The fourth season will take place in July and mark the return of Wake Island map and introduce Tsuru Reefs—the biggest map in Battlefield 6 so far. The release date of fifth season is currently unknown, but it’s confirmed to feature three new maps. You can also check out the trailer for Battlefield 6 Roadmap 2026 below:
Among the other innovations, Electronic Arts will also add new weapons, modes, a server browser, leaderboards, spectator mode, and more.
