New Prototype Video Game Gets Disappointing Update

The new Prototype video game has been a speculation among the fans. Especially when, last month, Radical Entertainment, the developers of Prototype game series, got rebranded into New Radical Games. However, it seems like we don’t need to anticipate a new franchise game anytime soon.

Initially revealed by Jez Corden from Windows Center in January that there are no plans to make another Prototype title, when the original game and its sequel received unexpected updates on Steam. As not mentioned by Xbox newsmaker Idle Sloth, during the latest The XB2 podcast, Corden confirmed his word that currently no Prototype game is in development, as you can check out below:

Jez Corden says there is no new 'Prototype' game in development.

“There is no prototype game in development, what so ever, as of right now.”

“Maybe someday the best you can hope for is some like, backward compatible game. There is no new prototype game in development.”

Unfortunately, even though New Radical Games is an active studio right now, we don’t get Prototype 3 in the near future or a possible remake/remaster of first two installments. At the same time, there is a chance to see the new version of The Simpsons: Hit & Run, another Radical Entertainment hit. The showrunner of TV series and the game, Matt Selman, in recent interview hinted the game could receive an improved version at some point.
