Sony Might Still Release Their Games on PC, But in Its Own Launcher

Last month, Sony officially moved away from its strategy to release their upcoming titles on PC. That means all the upcoming video games, like Marvel’s Wolverine, Saros, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, and more, will be exclusives for PlayStation 5—and that report has left PC users disappointed.

However, according to the messages from multiple gaming insiders, Sony may release its own launcher that will be able to launch PlayStation titles on PC. As explained, that step will let the company avoid PC games on Microsoft’s upcoming next-gen console, Project Helix, and require a PSN account for all the users. Moreover, Marvel’s Wolverine, which is set to release this September on PlayStation 5, may be the title to promote the PlayStation launcher on PC, as you can check out below.

At this point, Sony hasn’t revealed any plans to create a PlayStation launcher letting PC users play their games, so these reports should be considered with a grain of salt. The latest former PlayStation exclusive, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, was released on PC yesterday, and currently there are no planned single-player releases on the horizon.
