Over the years, Fortnite has built a reputation for its wide range of collaborations, bringing together characters and brands from video games, television, movies, and even music. The game has featured crossovers with artists such as Eminem and Mariah Carey, along with content inspired by numerous entertainment franchises. The recently launched Chapter 7 has continued this trend with several notable collaborations.

Chapter 7 Already Packed With Crossovers

So far, Chapter 7 Season 1 has introduced multiple crossover events to Fortnite. One of the most prominent collaborations was with South Park, which added skins based on the show’s main characters and even introduced themed locations such as the Cartmanland amusement park to the map.

Other crossover additions during the season include popular properties like The Office, the anime Solo Leveling, and Honkai: Star Rail from HoYoverse.

Looney Tunes Rumored to Be Next

According to well-known Fortnite leaker Loolo, Epic Games is preparing to announce a collaboration with Looney Tunes, one of the most recognizable cartoon franchises in entertainment history. The announcement could reportedly arrive within the next few days.

While the leak does not reveal specific details about the event, it suggests that a collaboration is already in the works. No information has yet been shared about potential skins, in-game items, or map changes.

If the crossover becomes official, it would not be the first partnership between Epic Games and Warner Bros., as Fortnite has previously featured several DC Comics characters as playable skins.

Potential Characters and Event Tie-Ins

Although details remain limited, fans would likely expect some of the franchise’s most famous characters to appear in the game. Characters such as Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck are among the most likely candidates to be included as cosmetic skins, possibly alongside themed emotes, back blings, and other items.

The timing of the rumored collaboration could also coincide with the launch of Chapter 7 Season 2, which is currently scheduled to begin on March 19. If so, the crossover might play a larger role in the upcoming season’s theme. Epic Games has already confirmed that a Crimson Desert crossover skin will also arrive with the new season.

More Collaborations May Be Coming

Looney Tunes is only one of several rumored collaborations reportedly planned for Fortnite in the near future. Leaks have previously suggested that franchises like Game of Thrones and Kingdom Hearts could eventually appear in the game, although no official release dates have been confirmed.

Another animated series may also join the lineup, with reports indicating that Ben 10 could receive a crossover event later this year.

Save the World Going Free-to-Play

In addition to the ongoing updates to the battle royale mode, Epic Games recently announced a major change for Fortnite’s Save the World mode. The cooperative tower defense experience will officially become free-to-play on April 16, nearly nine years after its original release.

The update will also make Save the World playable on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 for the first time. However, the mode will remain unavailable on the original Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.
