Streets of Rage 4 sales surpass 1,500,000 downloads

Representatives of the Lizardcube studio, who developed the game, told on their Twitter account that Streets of Rage 4 has been downloaded more than one and a half million times. Downloads include both individual player-purchased versions and those given out through Xbox Game Pass.

In honor of such an event, the developers decided to release a large patch, which brought more than 150 changes, including changes to the balance between characters, as well as fixes for gameplay errors and improved network functions.

Streets of Rage 4 is a beat 'em up game that continues the legendary series from the nineties that became one of the founders of this genre. The game was released on April 30, 2020 on all current platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The project from Lizardcube was warmly received by critics and players alike, and was also called a worthy relaunch of the series.
