Content Expansion Arrives For Baldur's Gate 3 On Consoles

Larian Studios initiated 2026 with substantial additions for Baldur's Gate 3 console players. In January, the developer meticulously reviewed and integrated nearly 70 new content pieces for PlayStation and Xbox users. This update granted access to the DnD 13th class, the Artificer, introduced automated combat options, and delivered various new classes and subclasses. After a period with limited new content, the game now receives a major influx of updates. As of today, Baldur's Gate 3 players encounter 18 additional options.

According to TheGamer, there was a stretch when fresh additions for the game were scarce, but that drought has ended in a major way. Starting today, players of Baldur’s Gate 3 can access 18 new customization choices, among them a “Big Busty Body” option and “Larger pen*s with flopping physics.”

The console version of Baldur's Gate 3 cannot match the rapid modding pace seen on PC. The PC iteration currently stands as the seventh most modded game in Nexus Mods' history, offering over 16,700 available modifications. Larian consistently strives to diminish this disparity. Through diligent vetting and testing, the developers port over selected mods at a consistent rate, maintaining engagement for players.

Today's release from Larian introduces another 18 distinct content pieces for players to explore. I find these additions present a varied collection, catering to diverse player preferences. The new options range from character aesthetic changes to gameplay mechanics. Players can delve into these new features now:

• Arachnophobia Mode: No Spiders, Only Sheep - This modification changes all spiders within the game environment into sheep.
• College of Winter Spirit: Ice Mage Bard - A new Winter Spirit Bard subclass is added, featuring cold-damage iterations of evocation spells. It includes 33 spells/attacks, 22 passives, and 6 summons.
• Way of the Pizza Chef Monk subclass - Introduces a Monk subclass focused on fire damage, complete with four progressive summons, a unique pizza weapon, throwables, and healing abilities.
• Larger pen*s With Flopping Physics - Provides enlarged and shrunken anatomical options, alongside stylish pubic hair and ring accessories.
• Vestments of Unyielding Radiance - A complete legendary radiant-themed gear set designed for divine warriors, spellcasters, and champions of light becomes available.
• Big Busty Body - Offers 27 outfits that modify the character's body to a curvaceous form for type 1/normal size Humans, Drow, Half Elves, Elves, Tieflings, and Githyanki.
• Ring of Viciousness - A rare ring is added to Act 2, which reduces the critical hit threshold by 1.
• Poesielibre's Spellbound Sister: Head Duo - Two new heads are incorporated into the standard female body type during Character Creation.
• Infernal Coronet: Lava-Forged Crown - A range of headwear is added, capable of granting Fire Immunity and unlocking the Scorching Ray spell.
• Astarion Epilogue Outfit Tweak - This alters Astarion's default epilogue outfit to his ascended epilogue attire.
• Dror Aggrn't: No More Hostile Goblin Camp - This ensures that Dror Ragzlin's death does not provoke hostility from the entire Goblin Camp if the alarm remains unraised.
• Wyll Kissing Dialog - Restores Wyll's original dialogue and response during player kissing interactions.
• Tieflings with Wings Remake - Introduces a subrace of Tieflings equipped with wings. I do believe this adds a unique visual element to character creation.
• Origin Characters Dice Set - A new dice set themed around origin characters is now available.
• Storm And Spectral Dice - New dice sets featuring storm and ghost themes are included.
• Hexblade's Curse Bugfix - Rectifies a significant bug in the new Hexblade Warlock's Curse, which previously caused infinite stacking on the Warlock throughout a playthrough.
• Clansong: Astarion As Ruby Dragonborn - Changes Astarion's appearance to that of a BT1 Dragonborn.
• Queen's Garments - A selection of royalty-themed garments, noted for their somewhat revealing nature, has been added.

This substantial update provides console players with many new ways to customize their experience and characters, bringing them closer to the extensive modding possibilities enjoyed by PC players.
