Hideo Kojima Teases Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Coming on PC
Last year, it was heavily rumored the PC version of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach could be announced soon, as the game received an ESRB rating back in November, and than in January. However, it still didn’t happen, though we might have received first teasers from none other than Hideo Kojima.
The head of Kojima Productions has recently revealed he’s working on some video editing, and as he clarified, he did it for the first time in 8 months. Some players suggested he’s working on a trailer dedicated to the upcoming PC version of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, and Kojima has shared a new post on X social media, which has more clues on that theory.
“Didn’t have much time today for editing.”
The most obvious detail in that post is the A Hideo Kojima Game text, written on one of the screens, and the Death Stranding 2026 calendar that may also tease something related to the franchise. Moreover, let’s not forget the original Death Stranding video game was released on PC in eight months (July 14, 2020) after the release on PlayStation 4 (November 8, 2019). Today, PlayStation also announced the next State of Play event is taking place this week, on February 12, so it’s pretty much likely the PC version of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be officially unveiled there.
