Rockstar Games Will Continue Support of GTA Online After GTA VI Release

With the recent quarterly earnings report, Take-Two Interactive confirmed the release of Grand Theft Auto VI will happen on November 19, and the game won’t be postponed, despite previous rumors and assumptions.

Some players suggested with the release of GTA VI, Rockstar Games will stop supporting GTA Online—a multiplayer mode of Grand Theft Auto V that brought a lot of income to Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive. However, the CEO of Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick, confirmed Rockstar Games will continue to release new updates for GTA Online even after the release of Grand Theft Auto VI, as you can check below:

“Look, Rockstar Games is the locus of information about, you know, where the titles go content and marketing, and generally, we have a pretty light touch when we talk about the label’s creative activities. At the same time, I have every reason to believe we’ll continue to support GTA Online. There’s a great community that loves it, that stays engaged. And again in this quarter, Rockstar has shown that when you deliver great additional content, despite how long has been at market, people show up.”

Grand Theft Auto VI is also confirmed to have multiplayer mode, probably, similar to GTA V’s GTA Online, though, details is currently unknown.
