In June last year, telecommunications conglomerate AT&T decided to sell its gaming subsidiary WB Games. Potential buyers were named Activision Blizzard, EA, Microsoft and Take-Two.
However, on September 1, Bloomberg reported that AT&T had abandoned the idea to sell the gaming direction. Among the main reasons for abandoning the idea of selling WB Games are the change of government at AT&T and the potential success of future games from the gaming direction of Warner Bros.
