It became known that the game exhibition will have a hybrid look. Part of gamescom will take place in Cologne, and part will be broadcasted online. The exhibition should take place from 25 to 29 August.
This year's gamescom took place entirely online due to the coronavirus pandemic. The hybrid event experience is similar to what the Game Developers Conference will be like. Video game developers in 2021 will increasingly resort to the symbiosis of offline exhibitions and online broadcasts.
