Red Dead Redemption 2 Next-Gen Versions Get Exciting Update

There are a lot of speculations that Red Dead Redemption 2 will receive an update for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S soon, though Rockstar Games hasn’t confirmed it yet.

Well, there is no reason to be concerned about this, as reliable game developer interviewer Reece ‘Kiwi Talkz’ Reilly confirmed the update is real and likely to be released soon, though he didn’t clarify when, as you can check below:

“I can tell you 100% I know 8 devs that worked on RDR2 next gen. It is a thing but Rockstar do whatever they want to do regarding release dates, maybe GTA 6 dev timelines changed the release schedule for everything, who knows, all I know is that I know devs have worked on it and it will come at some point.”

As mentioned by Reilly, the focus on GTA VI could make them delay the next-gen updates for Red Dead Redemption 2, and as soon as the game goes gold, we might have to accept the official announcement about PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S updates for Red Dead Redemption 2.

Grand Theft Auto VI is currently set to release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
