New Life is Strange Video Game Is Confirmed to Be Shown Next Week
The PEGI website recently accidentally leaked the new Life is Strange video game called Life is Strange: Reunion that will be a direct sequel to 2024’s Life is Strange: Double Exposure and bring back Chloe Price. Though it wasn’t a guarantee the game is real, now we finally have an official confirmation.
X's social media account of Life is Strange reveals the franchise is returning in 2026, and the official announcement of the new game is scheduled for January 20. There is also a short teaser with two characters: though we don’t see their faces, the first character is probably Max Caulfield, while the second mystery character, as X users noticed, wears a jacket with a bird and has green hair—it's very likely to be Chloe Price, Max’s bestie from original Life is Strange video game and its prequel Life is Strange: Before the Storm.
“Separate the real from the rumor... Join us for the exclusive reveal of the next Life is Strange game: https://youtu.be/b2eHeCKYHJc
January 20. 10am PST/ 1pm EST/ 6pm GMT/ 7pm CET.”
Just like the previous title, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, Deck Nine is developing the new game, and Square Enix will serve as the publisher. The game doesn’t have a release date and official title yet, but we will very likely find out about it on January 20.
