One Punch Man: World to Shut Down in February 2026
Crunchyroll Games has officially announced the shutdown of its 3D action title One Punch Man: World, with the game set to go offline on February 27, 2026. The project launched in February 2025 as a collaboration between Perfect World and Crunchyroll Games, meaning its service will end after just one year.
No Clear Reason Given for the Shutdown
Set in the popular One Punch Man anime universe, One Punch Man: World offered fast-paced action gameplay featuring fan-favorite characters, story-driven quests, challenging bosses, and collectible content. Players followed Saitama’s journey, assembled teams of heroes and villains, and used their unique abilities to take on a variety of enemies.
Despite the game’s scope and recognizable IP, the developers did not provide a specific explanation for the shutdown. The One Punch Man: World Operations Team confirmed the decision in an official post on X (formerly Twitter), stating that the choice was made after careful consideration and thanking players for their continued support and enthusiasm.
Final Play Period and End-of-Service Details
Following the announcement, in-game purchases and top-up options have been disabled, and the title has been removed from app stores. However, players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the end-of-service date.
All remaining World Silver and Gold can be spent in-game prior to shutdown. In addition, customer support will remain available until March 29, 2026, allowing players to resolve any remaining issues after the game goes offline.
