New StarCraft Video Game Details Reportedly Unveiled
During the recent report of Jez Corden from Windows Central, it was revealed a new StarCraft video game is reportedly in development at Blizzard. Moreover, he reveals new project is rumored to be a third-person shooter and the official announcement is likely to happen at BlizzCon 2026 this September.
During the recent XB2 394 podcast, Jez Corden has shared more details of Microsoft’s plans to develop its key gaming franchise, and some new information of upcoming StarCraft video game has been revealed. According to Corden, the next StarCraft third-person game is looking impressive, as he saw a few shots, and it will look like Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine. But at the same time, Microsoft is considering to revive the StarCraft franchise as RTS-strategy in the future.

He also clarifies that a new Age of Empires video game is in development as well, and it will use Unreal Engine. This strategy franchise remains one of the most important titles for Microsoft, but that’s all the details he shared for now.
For now, neither Microsoft nor Blizzard has confirmed or announced new StarCraft and Age of Empires titles, so you should take it with a grain of salt.
