Pearl Abyss Shares New Details of Their Upcoming RPG Video Game Crimson Desert
The New Game Plus Showcase event has just finished, where a bunch of new video games have been revealed, and some titles received some new official information from the developers. Crimson Desert is one of those games.
Developed by Pearl Abyss studio, Crimson Desert is a massive open-world action-adventure RPG that initially was a prequel to Black Desert Online, but the developers have decided to make it a standalone single-player title. Except for the new gameplay shown during the New Game Plus Showcase, the developers unveiled some sort of exciting information about the upcoming video game, specifically about its gameplay. X social media TheGameVerse has summed everything up, and you can check all the new details revealed by the developers below:
“Crimson Desert | New Details
Massive open world, at least 2× larger than Skyrim and even bigger than RDR2;
Weapon & equipment crafting;
Player housing available;
Aerial Abyss: sky islands packed with puzzles and rewards
Aerial Abyss plays a key role in the game
No romance options
World interactions dynamically update your codex
Shape and choose your playstyle
Launches March 19, 2026”
Perhaps the most exciting feature here is the game’s open world, which, according to Pearl Abyss, is twice as big as Skyrim and even bigger than in Red Dead Redemption 2. Hopefully, the game will also offer the players a well-written story and solid quests.
