Steam Awards 2025 Winners Are Finally Revealed

Valve has announced the winners of the Steam Awards 2025 in 11 different categories, and there are a few surprises.

Perhaps the most unexpected reveals come from the Game of the Year Award category, as Hollow Knight: Silksong wins this nomination, as well as the Best Game You Suck at Award. A lot of gamers were confident Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 would get this award, but Steam users have decided differently. Anyway, the game did win one category—Best Soundtrack Award. VR Game of the Year Award winner – The Midnight Walk;

Labor of Love Award winner – Baldur’s Gate 3;

Best Game on Steam Deck Award winner – Hades II;

Better With Friends Award winner – PEAK;

Outstanding Visual Style Award winner – Silent Hill f;

Most Innovative Gameplay Award winner – ARC Raiders;

Best Game You Suck at Award winner – Hollow Knight: Silksong;

Best Soundtrack Award winner – Clair Obscur: Expedition 33;

Outstanding Story-Rich Game Award winner – Dispatch;
