New Leak Confirms EGS Free Games in December 2025

The Game Awards 2025 ceremony confirmed Hogwarts Legacy is the first free game on Epic Games Store during the New Year’s Giveaway – a traditional event that allow players to expand to video games library. And according to the new leak, it won’t be the last big game available for free this month.

NoteBookCheck portal seemingly revealed the full list of free games during the New Year’s Giveaway. The full list consists of 16 different video games and dates when these titles will be available. You can check this below:

- Hogwarts Legacy (December 12);

- Jurassic World Evolution 2 (December 18);

- Desperados 3 (December 19);

- Total War: Warhammer (December 20);

- Tropico 5 (December 21);

- Chicken Police – Paint it Red! (December 22);

- Loop Hero (December 23);

- Lego Batman: The Videogame (December 24);

- Commander Keane (December 25);

- Farming Simulator 2022 (December 26);

- Slime Rancher 2 (December 27);

- Terraria (December 28);

- Detroit: Become Human (December 29);

- Mortal Kombat 11 (December 30);

- Red Dead Redemption 2 (December 31);

This list is actually huge and contains some big AAA-games, like Red Dead Redemption 2, Total War: Warhammer, Detroit: Become Human, Mortal Kombat 11 etc. Hopefully, this leak is true but still it needs to be considered with a grain of salt. However, as we can see, Hogwarts Legacy is the first free game in this list and during TGA 2025 it was confirmed to be the first free game on Epic Games Store. Probably, we will find out if this list is true on December 18 when the second game gets free.
