Aniimo to Hold Second Closed Beta Test on iOS and PC in Early 2026

Kingsglory, a subsidiary of FunPlus, has announced a second closed beta test for Aniimo, its upcoming creature-catching action RPG. The new beta is scheduled for early 2026 and will be available on iOS and PC.

The game was first revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase and recently underwent an iOS technical test in the United States in November. Registration for the upcoming closed beta test is now open.

New Content and Features in the Upcoming Beta

As Aniimo moves closer to its 2026 launch, the developers are introducing fresh content in this new beta phase. Aniimo is an open-world creature-catching RPG set in the world of Idyll, where players explore vast environments, capture magical creatures called Aniimo, and merge with them using special mechanics.

A new trailer shown at The Game Awards highlighted several newly revealed Aniimo, including Fentuft, Momand, and Cubbo — a powerful boss creature guarding a new area of Idyll’s expanding map. Players will be able to transform into these creatures using the game’s Twining mechanic.

Homeland System and New Game Modes

The upcoming beta will also introduce the Homeland feature, allowing players to build and upgrade their own home base using Aniimo abilities. Players can gather resources, manage campsites with RVs, and enjoy a system that blends farming elements with an amusement-park-style environment designed for Aniimo.

In addition, a competitive mode called Egg Heist has been revealed, offering a fast-paced and playful gameplay experience focused on competition and strategy.

How to Sign Up for Aniimo’s Second Closed Beta

The second closed beta test will be a limited-time, data-wipe test available on both iOS and PC. Players with iOS TestFlight access will be able to switch between platforms, while PC access will be platform-specific. Participants from the previous test are advised to uninstall earlier versions of the game.

To apply for the closed beta:

1. Visit the official Aniimo website.
2. Click on Join Closed Beta.
3. Complete the invitation survey.
4. Provide consent and fill in the required details, including email address, device model, region, and other information.
5. Optionally, add a Discord ID.
6. Submit the application.

Selected participants will be notified via email and will receive download instructions the same way.

With its charming art style, adorable creatures, and ambitious open-world design, Aniimo is shaping up to be one of the more promising creature-collecting RPGs ahead of its full release in 2026.
