Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 Remake Could Be in Development

As we know, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake, announced back at Sony PlayStation Showcase in 2021, is still in development thought we haven’t heard anything about the project for a while. According to latest report, the remake of sequel’s original game could be in development as well.

At least, this update comes from Game File report; it’s saying a full remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II is in the works, and it also includes “modern gameplay” and “an improved ending”.

Unfortunately, the source hasn’t shared any further details of potential remake, but if that report is true, we could potentially expect an announcement at upcoming The Game Awards 2025 ceremony. Moreover, recently insider Kurakasis revealed that we should expect “a big Star Wars game announcement soon” and the title ends with “The Old Republic”.
