DON'T NOD's Cancelled Game Details Reportedly Revealed
Over the last 12 years, Don't Nod studio have created a plenty of quality video games. But it's important to say that just recently, in 2022, they made a rebranding and since then released their own games - Harmony: The Fall of Reverie, Jusant, Lost Records: Bloom and Rage and currently they're working on a new title, Aphelion, set to release in 2026. They've also developed some game for big publishers: Remember Me (Capcom), Life is Strange (Square Enix), Vampyr (Focus Home Interactive), The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, Life is Strange 2 (Square Enix) and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden.
According to new report from Need4Games, studio also worked on a new IP that was ultimately cancelled. The project was in pre-production stage for about 9 months and only 15-20 people work on the game. Source added it was an ambitious sci-fi single player action RPG, made on Unreal Engine 5. Unfortunately, there is no details on the game's title, story or the gameplay because it was only a pre-production stage but maybe we will find more information in the future.
Currently, Don't Nod are working on the game called Aphelion - third-person action-adventure set on frozen planet Persephone. The game is expected to release in 2026 for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. Release date is currently unknown.
