Some documents of former Eidos-Montreal developers have been leaked on Reddit and it showes new Deus Ex was in development but was cancelled at early stages. The leak became possible after last week's layoffs at Eidos-Montreal and we already see the consequences. According to the report, Eidos-Montreal also worked on dark-fantasy RPG about vampires with focus on melee combat and parkour, and Modern Point & Click with turn-based combat. It is also said about the 3v3 competitive eSport set in futuristic universe but the fate of the project is currently unknown.

Also, source added that Eidos-Montreal has been involved in oursourcing work for Obsidian's Grounded 2 since 2023 and team of over 100 developers have been involved in Fable's production since 2022 to early 2025 but Microsoft decided not to renew the contract.
