Infinity Nikki Marks Its Largest Update Yet With New Region And Core System Changes
Infinity Nikki has released its most extensive update to date, reshaping much of the game and laying out a broader foundation for future additions. Version 2.0, titled Terra’s Call, is now live across all platforms. The update introduces a new region, expands existing areas, and revises several core systems that define the dress-up RPG’s structure.
Itzaland serves as the update’s central addition, joining the wider setting of Miraland and setting the tone for Terra’s Call’s focus on scale. Elderwood Forest and Spira arrive as sub-regions, with further areas scheduled for later patches. These spaces extend the range of exploration, with environmental features built to support new traversal tools. Players can now grapple, float in low-gravity segments, and shift into giant form to navigate terrain and puzzles.
Combat has undergone a marked shift as well. Archery enters the system as a new weapon style. Energy-based companion mechanics also evolve, adding variation to encounters and granting more control over pacing and distance. The update aims to make battles feel more flexible and to tie them more closely to the changes made across exploration.
World interaction increases throughout the new and existing zones. Creatures and objects react in more distinct ways, from singing mushrooms to climbing snails that alter route options. These touches are designed to make Miraland feel less static and better connected to the player’s movement and abilities.
Version 2.0 also adjusts the game’s structure for new players. Both the main storyline and side stories are now accessible for free. The development team positioned Terra’s Call as a reset point intended to level the experience between returning and first-time players.
Fashion items remain a central part of the update. A large set of outfits arrives with the patch, offered in both free and paid forms. New collections span exploration, performance, and event-based themes. The launch also ties into several in-game celebrations, marking the game’s second anniversary and the character Nikki’s birthday. These events roll out in stages, giving players recurring tasks and timed rewards.
The update includes a new theme song performed by Idina Menzel, known for her original role in Wicked. The track accompanies the promotional rollout and anchors the update’s branding.
