A trusted source within the Genshin Impact leak community reports that Version 6.3 will introduce three new playable characters: Columbina, Zibai, and Illuga. Much like Version 5.3’s triple-release in 2025, HoYoverse appears set on giving 2026 a strong kickoff, with Columbina positioned as the flagship character. Known as the Moon Maiden of Nod-Krai and a former Fatui Harbinger, she is rumored to be a 5-Star Hydro Catalyst supporting Lunar Reactions, indicating a major expansion for Nod-Krai team compositions. However, Version 6.3 is expected to offer far more than the debut of a high-profile support unit.

🌕 A New Liyue Character and the Lantern Rite Return

Just as Version 5.3 featured the Lantern Rite in its second phase, the same schedule is expected in Version 6.3. This aligns with speculation that a new Liyue character will join the roster — all signs currently point toward the Celadon Mare, an Adeptus connected to both the Frost Moon and Istaroth. Earlier predictions labeled her as an Anemo unit, but new information suggests a significant twist.

According to Uncle Kokomi, who accessed a development build of Version 6.3, the patch will introduce Columbina, Zibai, and Illuga. Multiple reputable Genshin leakers have supported this information, and while any leak should be treated cautiously, Kokomi’s track record is widely considered one of the most reliable in the community.

Columbina is said to function as a dedicated support for Lunar Reactions, with Hydro output comparable to Furina, but focused on amplifying Lunar-based synergies. Meanwhile, the Celadon Mare will reportedly debut as Zibai, a 5-Star Geo Sword hypercarry tailored for Lunar-Crystallize teams. If accurate, it’s clear both characters are being designed with strong synergy in mind.

To round out the trio, Illuga — a 4-Star Geo Polearm unit — will serve as a supportive piece for the Lunar-Crystallize reaction. Previously referenced by Varka and Flins during the Version 6.1 Archon Quest, he is portrayed as an outstanding member of the Lightkeepers. Given his kit description, he will likely be Zibai’s optimal partner. Based on Kokomi’s info, Columbina is expected to headline Phase 1, with Zibai and Illuga taking over Phase 2. And because Illuga is tied to Nod-Krai, he is unlikely to appear in the 2026 Lantern Rite 4-Star selector.
