Far Cry 7 gameplay details reportedly revealed

Far Cry franchise has been one of the most entertaining for the players and on the most successful for Ubisoft. We have seen a huge varieties of games, we've been on tropical island with mad psychopath, snow-capped Himalays with Yeti and fought with cultists all over Montana. Over the last few years, Far Cry series gave the players different stories with unique charactars and settings, however, not every game was really exciting and remarkable. Though, it was always fun to play.

We haven't heard any official information from Ubisoft regarding next game in Far Cry's franchise. Though, off and on, there are some leaks on the Internet suggesting that new game is in development, and now we have another proof of it. And not just one game!

According to well-known insider Tom Henderson, there are two new Far Cry games that are in development. First one - is classic singleplayer game, set in Alaska. The second one will focus on multiplayer, it is described as "extraction-based-shooter". That means, the game will include such elements, as survival, looting, PVP, etc. Moreover, thanks to files taken from another Ubisoft title, XDefiant, we may have take a look at potential new Far Cry multiplayer game:

Unfortunately, insider doesn't share any other information, especially, about new singleplayer Far Cry videogame. So far, we now nothing about the story, characters and where the game will be set in. The same thing about ever potential release date, as the game were not officially confirmed and announced by Ubisoft.

It will be interesting to see, what will new Far Cry games offer to players. Hopefully, Ubisoft will make another well-written story for Far Cry 7, because for many fans it wasn't good enough in previous titles.
