Fortnite x The Simpsons: Early Access Reveals Full Details About the Upcoming Mini-Season
Epic Games has granted select content creators early access to the upcoming Fortnite season, giving fans a first in-depth look at the highly anticipated Fortnite x The Simpsons crossover. Over the past few weeks, this collaboration has dominated community discussions, and players are now eager to bid farewell to Chapter 6 and explore what’s next.
A Mini-Season Packed with Springfield Fun
The next Fortnite update will be what Epic calls a mini-season — a shorter, themed event that typically lasts about a month and features a more compact Battle Pass. This time, the mini-season will center entirely around The Simpsons, bringing Springfield to life inside Fortnite.
For the duration of November, Springfield will replace the current Battle Royale island, complete with iconic landmarks, themed weapons, and NPCs inspired by the show. The Item Shop and Battle Pass will be filled with Simpsons-themed cosmetics, letting players dive fully into the crossover experience.
Creators Showcase The Simpsons Battle Pass and Springfield Map
To build excitement ahead of launch, several Fortnite creators have already showcased the new content. Notably, NickEh30 was invited to the Epic Games headquarters, where he tested the new mini-season firsthand. In his preview video, he demonstrated sidekick customization, offered a detailed look at the Simpsons-themed Battle Pass, and explored the Springfield island, its NPCs, and unique weapons.
The Simpsons Battle Pass Skins
Players will be able to unlock several fan-favorite characters through the Battle Pass:
- Marge Simpson
- Blinky Fishstick
- Ned Flanders
- Homer Simpson
- Peely Simpson (Bonus Skin – not shown in previews)
Marge Simpson will be the first unlockable skin, and while Maggie doesn’t appear as a standalone character, fans can spot her riding Marge’s Cart-a-Copter glider. Marge also appears as a boss on the Springfield map, with a Witch Marge alternate style available on the second Battle Pass page.
Next up is Blinky Fishstick, a clever fusion of Fortnite’s classic Fishstick model and Blinky, the iconic three-eyed fish from The Simpsons. Players can also unlock Ned Flanders, complete with his “Stupid Sexy Skiing” alternate outfit.
The final Battle Pass reward is Homer Simpson, who comes with his Evil Homer variant. To unlock this style, players must level up their account and complete all tiers on the Bonus Page.
Springfield Map – Named Locations
The new island faithfully recreates Springfield with several recognizable areas, including:
- Cletus’ Corn Hole
- Springfield Nuclear Power Plant
- Kamp Krusty
- Burns Manor
- Mayor’s Munchies
- Springfield Town Square
- Evergreen Terrace
- Springfield Slurpworks
- Donut District

Bart and Krusty Join the Fun
While Bart Simpson and Krusty the Clown appear in loading screens, they won’t be part of the Battle Pass. According to leaks, Bart Simpson will arrive in the Item Shop on November 1, while Krusty’s release date remains unconfirmed.
A Legendary Crossover Approaches
With its blend of nostalgia and Fortnite creativity, the Fortnite x The Simpsons mini-season promises to be one of the most memorable collaborations yet. Fans can look forward to exploring Springfield, unlocking iconic characters, and gearing up for the arrival of Chapter 7 later this year.
