Nothing is forgotten, no one is forgotten: updates are out for CS 1.6

On August 19, Counter-Strike 1.6 was updated. The minor patch primarily affected the client's security.

• fixed viewdemo command, due to which the client sometimes crashed
• fixed a bug due to which visible boxes appeared when buying cartridges
• fixed security setting when disconnecting client
• fixed security parameter when processing console commands
• fixed security parameter for client/server interaction
• fixed security parameter when loading models
• fixed security parameter when loading BSP and WAD
• setting cl_autowepswitch to 2 will now switch weapons when picking up a more powerful rifle, except when holding down the left or right mouse button

In addition to CS 1.6, other Valve titles also received updates: Half-Life and Team Fortress 2. The patches in these games are also intended to improve security.
