Leaked: Battlefield 6’s Battle Royale Mode Could Be Called RedSec

While an official announcement is still pending, insider reports from ModernWarzone suggest that the upcoming battle royale mode for Battlefield 6 may be titled Battlefield: RedSec.

According to the leak, RedSec is expected to launch on October 28 as a shadow drop, meaning it will go live immediately after its reveal. Rumors indicate that the mode will follow a free-to-play model, giving players instant access without any purchase.

One confirmed gameplay change could significantly alter the standard battle royale experience: the shrinking circle will now instantly eliminate players caught outside its bounds. Developers aim to make survival more intense and fast-paced with this mechanic.

Battlefield 6 is available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
