Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Gets Final PC Requirements Ahead of Launch

The Chinese Room and Paradox Interactive have released the extended PC system requirements for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, breaking down target resolutions, frame rates, and graphics presets. The studio confirmed that the game will run on Unreal Engine 5, featuring Lumen and Nanite technologies for lighting and geometry rendering. These additions suggest significant visual fidelity across a range of performance targets.

For players targeting entry-level setups, Bloodlines 2 requires at least an Intel Core i3-8350K or AMD Ryzen 3 3300X, along with 8GB of RAM. GPU options start with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB), AMD Radeon RX 480 (8GB), or Intel Arc A580 (8GB). This configuration aims for 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second on Low settings. A minimum of 30GB of available storage is needed, and Windows 10 64-bit is listed as the supported operating system.

Here's Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 system requirements table: Min, Rec and Ultra.

The recommended specification for smoother 1080p performance at 60 FPS calls for an Intel Core i5-12600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, paired with 16GB of RAM. On the graphics side, the team recommends an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (8GB) or an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT (12GB). These components target High settings and can extend to 1440p at 60 FPS when using DLSS Performance mode.

For higher resolutions, the extended list outlines configurations for native 1440p, 4K, and advanced Ultra modes with NVIDIA DLSS support. Running Bloodlines 2 at 1440p with High settings and a consistent 60 FPS will require an RTX 3070 (8GB) or an AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT (12GB), supported by the same CPU and RAM setup as the recommended tier.

4K performance at High settings moves into upper-tier hardware territory. The developers suggest an Intel Core i7-13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, with 16GB of RAM. GPU requirements climb to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 (16GB) or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX (24GB). This configuration targets 2160p resolution at 60 FPS, ensuring full use of Unreal Engine 5’s dynamic lighting systems.

For Ultra presets, The Chinese Room has provided configurations optimized for NVIDIA’s DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation technologies. Ultra 2K settings, with DLSS Super Resolution enabled for Performance mode, recommend an RTX 3060 Ti or RTX 5060 (8GB) and aim for 1440p at 60 FPS. Ultra 4K targets remain consistent with the i7-13700K or Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPUs, but require an RTX 4070 or RTX 5060 Ti to achieve 60 FPS in 2160p with DLSS Quality mode and Frame Generation set to 2x.

The highest performance tier, labeled Ultra 4K+ DLSS + MFG 4x, is designed for extreme frame rates up to 240 FPS. Achieving this level of performance will need an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 (16GB) with the same i7-13700K or Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU pairing. DLSS Super Resolution in Performance mode and Multi-Frame Generation are enabled for optimal output at 2160p.

All configurations beyond the minimum list Windows 11 as the operating system requirement, maintaining 16GB of RAM and 30GB of storage across every performance tier.
