Fortnite Reveals First Look at New Halloween Skins
Epic Games has officially released a new trailer for Fortnite’s annual Halloween event, confirming that beloved characters from major franchises — including Scooby-Doo, Friday the 13th, Scream, and Poppy Playtime — will arrive on the island by the end of October.
Fortnite is currently in the midst of Chapter 6 Season 4, and the Fortnitemares event is expected to continue through October 31, closing out the spooky season with a series of major collaborations and limited-time content. 👻
🌕 Doja Cat Joins the Fortnitemares Lineup
In addition to the major crossovers, Fortnite recently revealed Doja Cat’s exclusive skins, which will be added to the game when the Fortnitemares update launches on October 10. The Grammy-winning artist will receive two unique skins, both available for purchase in the Item Shop.
Furthermore, it’s rumored that Doja Cat will appear as a limited-time boss on the map, giving players a new challenge during the event. While Epic Games has prepared a wide variety of fresh cosmetics, fans can also expect to see popular skins from previous Fortnitemares events return to the shop.
👻 Fortnite Reveals Scooby-Doo, Ghostface, Jason, Huggy Wuggy & More
With Fortnite’s annual Halloween event officially starting on October 9, Epic Games has released a brand-new trailer showcasing the skins arriving in the coming days and weeks.
The video teases three major collaborations — the animated hit Scooby-Doo, the horror co-op title R.E.P.O., and the classic slasher film Scream. Players can see Daphne, Velma, Fred, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo entering a haunted mansion, setting the tone for a chilling new adventure.
A glimpse of Ghostface chasing someone through the mansion’s dark corridors adds to the eerie atmosphere, confirming his return as one of the highlight skins of this year’s event.
💀 Huggy Wuggy & Jason Voorhees Join the Fight
As the trailer continues, fans get a clear look at Huggy Wuggy from Poppy Playtime, officially confirming a long-awaited collaboration. Even more exciting, Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th makes his Fortnite debut, much to the delight of players who have been anticipating his arrival on the island.
🧟♂️ Original Skins and Creepy Additions
The Halloween event isn’t limited to crossovers — Epic Games has also created original spooky skins to keep things fresh. Players can spot a glowing green Peely clawing his way out of the ground, a vampire version of Marigold stalking the halls, and a mysterious character wearing a skeleton costume with a cat-shaped pumpkin head. 🎃
With so many new and returning cosmetics, and more surprises still under wraps, Fortnite fans have plenty to look forward to this Halloween. The event promises to deliver a mix of nostalgia, horror, and fun, leaving players excited for what’s next in the ever-evolving Fortnite universe.
