Deus Ex Remastered Coming to PC in February 2026
Aspyr Media has officially announced Deus Ex Remastered, a refreshed version of the iconic 2000 cyberpunk title from Ion Storm. The remaster is set to launch on February 5, 2026, and promises to bring modern visuals, updated 3D models, and quality-of-life improvements while keeping the core gameplay intact.
The first trailer, released during Sony’sState of Play event, gives players a glimpse of what to expect. It features side-by-side comparisons of the original game and the remaster, showcasing higher-resolution textures, refined character models, and improved lighting. While the update enhances visual fidelity, it currently doesn’t include Ray Tracing or Path Tracing, leaving those advanced options to other projects like the RTX Remix, which is still in active development for the original game.
Aspyr is known for its work on classic remasters, including the Tomb Raider series, and fans can expect a similar level of polish for Deus Ex Remastered. The trailer hints at a faithful recreation of the original cyberpunk atmosphere, with the same immersive environments, hacking mechanics, and branching narratives that made the original a landmark in the genre.
Details on new features or gameplay tweaks are still scarce, as Aspyr has yet to release a full press statement. The remaster is currently confirmed for PC, and while it was announced during a Sony presentation, there’s no indication that it will be a PlayStation exclusive. The game’s official website is not live yet, but further updates are expected in the coming weeks.
Fans of the original Deus Ex will likely appreciate revisiting its rich cyberpunk world with updated visuals, while newcomers get a chance to experience one of gaming’s most influential classics in a more modern format. The release on February 5, 2026, ensures that both returning and new players have plenty of time to prepare for the adventure.
