Forza Horizon 6 Is Taking Players to Japan for the First Time
The next entry in the legendary racing series, Forza Horizon 6, will finally deliver what fans have been requesting for years — a chance to race through the streets and highways of modern-day Japan.
Players can look forward to experiencing authentic left-hand traffic, breathtaking views of Tokyo’s neon-lit cityscapes, and a soundtrack tailored to the Japanese setting. The roster of cars and their liveries will be carefully curated to reflect Japan’s car culture, giving off the same vibes that made The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift a cult classic.
Forza Horizon 6 is currently slated for a 2026 release on Xbox Series X|S, PC (via Steam), and Game Pass. The developers have hinted that additional platforms may be announced before launch — after all, a racing game set in Japan would hardly feel complete without appearing on the country’s most popular consoles, such as PlayStation 5 and Switch 2.
