Ukrainian Indie Studio SwyTapp Games Unveils Debut Horror Title The Floor Above

It’s always exciting to see new voices emerging in the gaming world, and this time it’s a small Ukrainian indie team stepping into the spotlight. SwyTapp Games has announced its very first project — a psychological horror game about anomalies titled The Floor Above. The game already has a dedicated Steam page and a first trailer to set the tone.

A Claustrophobic Anomaly Horror

The Floor Above is designed to push both players and their psyche to the limit. The developers are introducing a unique gameplay mechanic called “Blinking”, which forces players to observe every tiny detail with intense focus.

Expect to encounter a wide variety of anomalies, distorted realities, and unsettling movements throughout your journey. Adding to the tension is Morty the cat, who may act as a helpful companion—or scare you out of your wits. To keep players on edge, the game will also feature multiple endings, ensuring that each playthrough can lead to a different outcome.

Independent Effort and Release Window

SwyTapp Games is handling promotion on its own, so any community support will go a long way in helping these debut developers make their mark. According to the studio, The Floor Above is planned for release in the fourth quarter of 2025.
