Rapha is the 2020 Quake World Championship
On the night of August 10, the Quake World Championship - Quake World Championship 2020 ended. 24 cybersportsmen from different parts of the world took part in the tournament. The victory was won by Team Liquid's Shane "Rapha" Hendrickson.
In the first round of the playoffs, Rapha beat cnz 3-0. In the final of the upper bracket, Team Liquid's player dealt with vengeurR with a score of 3-1. In the grand final, Rapha defeated raisy, the representative of Myztro Gaming. The fight ended 4-0.
Quake World Championship 2020 was not successful for CIS players. NaVi representative Aleksey “Cypher” Yanushevsky took 17-20th place, player b100, Alexander “Base” Rybin took 9-12th place, and Anton “Cooler” took 7-8th place.
Quake World Championship 2020 took place on August 7-9 as part of the QuakeCon at Home event. 24 participants competed for the title of champion and $ 150,000 in prize money.
