Fortnite’s Summer Road Trip 2025: Free Rewards, Quests, and a Fantastic Four Crossover

Epic Games has officially revealed the first details about Fortnite’s highly anticipated Summer Road Trip 2025, set to kick off on July 22 at 9 AM ET. The event arrives in the midst of Chapter 6, Season 3, which has already introduced superheroes and a range of unique abilities to the game’s evolving universe.

Fantastic Four Collaboration Incoming

One of the biggest highlights of this summer’s event is an exciting new crossover between Fortnite and The Fantastic Four: First Steps, timed with the film’s theatrical release on July 25. The collaboration will introduce four new character skins to the Item Shop, matching the iconic heroes from the movie.

Even better — players will have the chance to earn the skins for free by competing in a special Fantastic Four Cup tournament. While Epic has yet to confirm the official pricing or whether the skins will be sold as a bundle, the free unlock option is sure to excite fans.

Summer Road Trip Event Details

Returning as a fan-favorite limited-time event, the Summer Road Trip will run from July 22 through August 7 at 2 AM ET. During this period, players can complete daily quests, with a new challenge unlocking each day between July 22 and July 28.

These quests will alternate between official “by Epic” experiences and creator-made maps, encouraging players to team up and explore a wide variety of content.

Players who participate in the Summer Road Trip can unlock several exclusive rewards, including:

• 🚗 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Bundle

The Corvette ZR1 Bundle is expected to be a standout cosmetic reward, letting players customize Fortnite’s sports cars with a new skin. While the car itself will eventually appear in the Item Shop, the ZR1 Circuit decal will remain exclusive to the Summer Road Trip event — making it a must-have for completionists.

Additionally, players can unlock a free Hairpin car skin by completing Rocket League-themed challenges in its own Summer Road Trip crossover.

Looking ahead, a recent leak hints at the return of mud mechanics in Chapter 6, Season 4, expected to launch this August. Previously, mud allowed players to slide faster and evade thermal detection, adding new layers of strategy and stealth to matches.
