During the latest livestream, fans got their first glimpse of the Sunspray Summer Resort, a brand-new permanent summer zone, plus exciting details about the long-teased region of Nod-Krai, a major new character, and more.

Version 5.8 introduces Genshin's first-ever permanent summer event zone — Sunspray Summer Resort. Alongside this vibrant area, players will dive into a brand-new limited-time story: Song of the Welkin Moon: Prelude, featuring Ineffa, the very first character from the mysterious land of Nod-Krai.

🌌 First Look at Nod-Krai & New Dendro Character Lauma

The livestream gave fans a stunning preview of Nod-Krai, a frosty new region brimming with lore and intrigue. It also confirmed the arrival of Lauma, a Dendro character affiliated with the Frostmoon Scions. Although previously surrounded by speculation, Lauma is now officially tied to the Dendro element — possibly influencing Elemental Reactions in broader gameplay.
