The Fantastic Four Might Be Headed to Fortnite Ahead of New MCU Film

A major Fortnite x Marvel crossover may be just around the corner. According to reliable Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR, cosmetics for Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and potentially The Thing could be coming to the game as part of a collaboration with Marvel’s upcoming film The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which is set to hit theaters on July 25.

ShiinaBR reported on Twitter that Fortnite’s July 15 update added two encrypted cosmetic sets to the game files. Although the actual skins remain hidden, direct references to several members of the Fantastic Four were discovered. While The Thing wasn't explicitly mentioned, ShiinaBR noted it’s still possible the character may be included when the full set is revealed.

Chapter 6 Season 3: Superhero Showdowns Continue

This potential Marvel collaboration follows a current crossover event with James Gunn’s Superman from the DC Universe. Players can now find a Superman mythic item during matches that temporarily transforms them into the iconic hero, complete with flight, super strength, and heat vision. The item was recently buffed, increasing both durability and damage output, making it a powerful addition to any player’s arsenal.

Blitz Royale and Hero Items Keep the Game Fresh

Alongside new content, Fortnite also launched a fresh limited-time mode called Blitz Royale. This five-minute version of the battle royale experience offers fast-paced action for players who want a shorter, more intense match.

Hero items continue to play a significant role in the meta of Chapter 6 Season 3, offering game-changing abilities that dramatically affect the flow of combat. Fans are hopeful that the arrival of the Fantastic Four will introduce new mythic items or powers tied to each hero, further expanding gameplay possibilities.

Cautious Optimism from the Community

While the leaks have stirred excitement among the community, many are urging others to remain cautious until Epic Games officially confirms the collaboration. Still, anticipation is high. The Fantastic Four have long been requested by fans — especially given that Doctor Doom, one of their primary villains, has already appeared in Fortnite multiple times.
