Sony spoke about PS5 accessories and peripherals
Sony has presented a guide that answered questions about PS5 accessories and peripherals. There they also answered the question about the backward compatibility of gamepads.
The DualShock 4 won't work with newer PS5 games, but that doesn't mean the legacy controller will be completely useless. It can still be used for backward compatibility. In turn, PS5 devices will work seamlessly with PS4 games.
In addition to gamepads, they answered questions about headphones. Various versions of headphones from Sony, as well as third-party manufacturers, will work on the PlayStation 5. This applies to devices with both USB and audio jack connections.
PS4 cameras will work on PS5. True, only in VR projects and with an adapter, which all owners of Sony VR headsets will receive for free.
The next generation PlayStation 5 console comes out later this year. At least one more event will take place in August, but which will possibly announce the exact release date and price of the PS5.
