This timeline aligns with Ubisoft’s updated development strategy, which targets a release window within 12 months of the start of internal alpha testing. A recent example is the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake, which entered alpha in June 2025 and is expected to release by March 31, 2026.

Details about the new Ghost Recon entry remain scarce, but early reports suggest a bold new direction for the series. The game is said to adopt a first-person perspective, with an emphasis on gritty military realism. Its setting is described as a fictional war in Central Asia, drawing comparisons to the atmospheric tone of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the tactical intensity of Ready or Not. The conflict will reportedly center around a private military group known as Naiman.

While an official reveal date has not been announced, sources indicate that Ubisoft is preparing for a major Ubisoft Forward showcase next year. Notably, the company skipped the event this year, opting instead to distribute its game trailers across other summer presentations.
